Living with and Beyond Cancer
What a cancer diagnosis does to the rest of your life, talked about honestly. New episodes released regularly.
About the podcast
Most of what is written about cancer is about treatment. Far less of it is about the rest: the fear before a scan, the friends who stop ringing, the guilt, the money, and the strange anticlimax of finishing treatment and being expected to go back to normal.
That is what this podcast is for. I am a counsellor, a patient advocate, and someone who has been through it twice, and I talk to patients, carers, clinicians and researchers about the parts that usually get left out.
Nothing is off limits and nothing is dressed up. If you are living with cancer, or you love someone who is, you will probably hear something you have thought and never said out loud.
